It’s interesting cause Jersey the island I live on has some of the biggest tides in the world, about 12 metres between low and high tide so the whole landscape shifts twice a day.
So in a way the island has this breathing, expanding and contracting feeling!
Amazing. I can imagine that sensation. Yes, I live on the shores of Lake Erie, with Canada on the other side. The lake is so large, though, you can’t see across, and its waves and wind (and shipwrecks) are legendary.
